Emo Night Brooklyn Seattle Concert reviews
Roger Waters is a Legend!
I really enjoyed this experience! The musicians, back up singers, and particularly the amazing Saxophonist provided a full accompaniment that blew me away musically. The stage set up and design were phenomenal. It was easy to get caught up in the imagery of the cross-shaped screens and lose yourself. It is no secret that Emo Night Brooklyn (and Pink Floyd's) music/lyrics have always been hyper political. Maybe you should "got into his lyrics" in order to understand the music and where it comes from if you never did. His overall message of love and compassion for humanity and civilized discourse without fear of violence was not lost on me. His notion of being able to freely speak without hate/judgment with each other at the local Bar was eye-opening in that many people are unable to do so anymore. There was so much more to this show than just the music, you just need to be open enough to see it and how it applies to your own views wherever they may stand!
